The Vector has been developed over more than two decades and has been refined to provide the ultimate in slope aerobatics. Unlike other slope aero machines, the Vector has a well proportioned side area to the fuse, giving excellent control while still maintaining energy. Fully moulded using CNC technology, the Vector is made from high grade materials to give a strong yet light airframe, making it capable of precision aerobatics in the lightest of conditions, or, by loading up the generous 20mm ballast tube will perform equally well in howling gales.

The wing features a fully symmetrical SD8020 airfoil and is constructed from a glass balsa sandwich with generous carbon capped spar. The servo wells are reinforced for mounting a variety of servos to drive the bottom hinged ailerons and flaps that are complete with pre-fitted brass horns. The 10% section and 250mm chord means there is also plenty of room for the wing servos so you are not limited to expensive thin wing servos. Mixing these surfaces allows for full length camber control to get the best performance out of your model.

The full flying elevator uses the same symmetrical airfoil and construction and is joined through the fin with carbon rods through a very nicely machined aluminium bellcrank.

The Fuse is equally well constructed with plenty of carbon rovings in the rear of the boom to give a nice stiff fin. Wing mount area is complete to take the servo extensions, plugs and the generous rectangular carbon wing joiner. The fuse also has room for two standard sized servos.

The Vector is supplied with all basic hardware. Falcon Gliders can also supply wing, fuse and tail bags, quality Eneloop battery packs and hardware upgrades in case you want something a little stronger than the standard parts. Brass ballast slugs are available and we now also supply wiring harnesses to speed up your build and get you in the air sooner.
