Jarts on Sale - Price Cut to $500 on Stock Models Only
The design of the original Jarts had to meet a few parameters. A plane that was tough, easy to build, high performance and of course had to look great. Reed has taken these criteria and stretched the original 56" design to a more efficient, full house, fully moulded Jart, the M70.
The stiff, full carbon, two piece wing is like many top end mouldies. Bottom driven ailerons and top driven flaps are live hinged and complete with wipers with the flap horns already installed. The mid wing is joined through the fuse with a very beefy carbon joiner with front and rear metal alignment pins ensuring the wings are a perfect fit to the fuse. The wings even have a ballast tube for those bigger days and like other mouldies, comes with precut servo covers to give a clean finish.
The carbon fuse features a glass and kevlar nose so is 2.4ghz friendly. Canopy is complete with steel hold down wire giving access to a very roomy fuse that makes installation of elevator servo quick and easy. The extra space allows additional room for more ballast. Rudder servo is mounted in the tail fin with direct drive to the live hinged and wipered rudder. Unlike most planes that allow for tail mounted servos, the Jart is not a tight fit and we easily put a 19mm servo in, not that you need anything that big. What is impressive is the fact that the horizontal stab is removable so the whole plane breaks down for easy and safe transport. Following the Jart design, the stab sits up off the bottom of the plane and slides through a moulded opening in the rear of the fin. Securing the stab only requires a single bolt that is installed by moving the rudder to one side with the bolt going through the fin, stab and is secured into the bottom of the fin.....simple yet effective.
Complete will basic hardware to finish the build, the M70 is also available with wiring harness to speed up the build and get you in the air sooner.
The full house features and provision for ballast make this a very versatile model with the outstanding performance we have all come to know from the Jarts. An excellent model for a wide range of conditions and landing zones, the Jart M70 will be turning heads wherever it turns up to fly.
